Sixty years ago, the moon was a flat shining object in the sky. With my binoculars, I now see a three-dimensional object. It seems clear that the moon is not shining, but is partly illuminated by an unseen source of light. The moon has changed a lot in sixty years.

I'd eaten so many salt & vinegar potato chips that the roof of my mouth & my gums & lips were stinging, but that's how I stay awake on long car trips. Eating keeps me awake, & only the most addictive gas station delicacies will do.
